Frequently asked questions

How does an hourly workout work?+

Choose active days, a start time, an end time, and how often reminders should occur. Each scheduled check-in uses your current Today rotation and session size.

Can I change today’s exercises after the day starts?+

Yes. Changes to the Today plan are reflected in the next scheduled workout. Tomorrow can keep its own staged plan.

What happens if I miss a notification?+

A check-in remains actionable for a limited window. Older opportunities become missed accountability instead of building an overwhelming backlog of workouts.

Can I pause reminders?+

Yes. Rest Mode can pause scheduled workouts for a selected period or until you explicitly resume. Workout Now remains available when you want to move on your own schedule.

Where is my workout data stored?+

Workout history and settings are stored locally on your device. You can create a manual backup file and restore it later. No Power Hour account is required.

Why does Power Hour need microphone access?+

Only audible own-pace counting needs it. You can use coached counting or quiet modes without speaking, and microphone access can be changed in iOS Settings.

How do I change notification, microphone, camera, or photo access?+

Open the iPhone Settings app, find Power Hour, and adjust the relevant permission. Power Hour also explains unavailable permissions inside the app.

How do I manage or restore Pro?+

Use Restore Purchases inside Power Hour. Subscription management and billing are handled through your Apple ID subscription settings.
